Beijing - Part One

We arrived in Beijing early on a Sunday morning and met up with Jamie's friend, Anne, who is teaching in China. She took us to a few markets and helped us navigate the streets of Beijing. The next day we met up with my Aunt and Uncle and started our tour to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. China was crowded, polluted, dirty, the people had no concept of personel space or lines, but the trip was fascinating. The next day we went to the Great Wall, and Ming Tombs.
