One of the girls in my Mia Maids class is part Polynesian and she had a Tahitian dance recital this weekend. She invited me to come and I just loved it. Andy knows he has to support my culture, so he was a good sport. It was a lot of fun because they have Tahitian classes for little kids...ages 4 to 10. So cute! Check it out:
They also had several other groups of varying ages and skills perform. My Mia Maid and her two sisters just started taking Tahitian lessons this past year. They did a great job!! It really took me back to my days in Hawaii when we had May Day, Keiki Hula and when I danced Tahitian in parades (and about died from the worst side pains of my life!!).
